Although this month began on a sad note with the loss of Don Cornelius, we still have much to celebrate. Our brilliance, style and genius is still often imitated but never duplicated. I pray we finally learn to appreciate ourselves and the endless contributions we’ve made to the world.
We are black gold..we still shine!

Ever have one of those days when your thoughts are all over the place? Each singular thought is fighting for space in your already crowded brain and not finding any room? Well that’s the type of day I’m having. It’s actually been the type of week I’ve had. I’ve thought about love, life, dreams, people, food, all to this master mix of a soundtrack that accompanies it. All in all in my freeway of a brain, I do still stop to observe things I find interesting and beautiful. So I thought that I would share so you can peek into my brain a bit. Enjoy!
